    The gravitational force between an object and the Earth (or any other celestial body) is given by Newton's law of universal gravitation:

    $$F = \frac{Gm_1m_2}{r^2}$$

    Where:

    - $$F$$ is the gravitational force between the two objects in newtons (N).

    - $$G$$ is the gravitational constant, equal to 6.674 × 10^-11 N m^2 kg^-2.

    - $$m_1$$ and $$m_2$$ are the masses of the two objects in kilograms (kg).

    - $$r$$ is the distance between the centers of the two objects in meters (m).

    In simpler terms, the gravitational force between an object and the Earth is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
