The Kelvin scale uses Celsius as its measuring point for the freezing point of water, hence 0 K is the same as -273.15 °C in Celsius. When a substance reaches this temperature all molecular motion stops, as they lose all of their energy. This temperature is referred to as the absolute zero point as is it believed to be the lowest that anything physical may experience.
