  • Low Coefficient of Friction: Examples & Applications
Two surfaces that would have a low coefficient of friction are ice and Teflon. Both of these surfaces are very smooth and non-porous, which means that there is very little resistance between them when they come into contact with each other. This makes them ideal for applications where friction is undesirable, such as in bearings and gears.
