  • Gravitational Force and Distance: Understanding the Inverse Square Law
    As objects move further apart, the gravitational force between them decreases. This is because the force of gravity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the objects. In other words, if the distance between two objects doubles, the force of gravity between them will decrease to one-fourth of its original value.
