  • Centripetal Acceleration: Direction and Force
The acceleration of an object experiencing centripetal acceleration is always directed towards the center of the circular path along which the object is moving. This is because centripetal acceleration is the net force required to keep an object moving in a circular path, and the direction of the net force is always towards the center of the circle.
