  • Simple Pendulum Period: Effect of Mass & Amplitude
The time period \(T\) of a simple pendulum is given by the equation:

    $$T=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{L}{g}}$$

    here,

L is the length of the pendulum

g is the acceleration due to gravity

For a simple pendulum the quantities $$m, \ A$$ that is mass and amplitude do not effect the time period as long as the amplitude of oscillation are small.
