  • Buoyant Force and Mass: Understanding the Relationship
Buoyant force does not increase with mass of an object. Buoyant force is the upward force exerted by a fluid that opposes the weight of a partially or fully immersed object. It is determined by the density of the fluid and the volume of the displaced fluid, not the mass of the object.
