  • Understanding Zero Acceleration: Examples & Explanations
An example of zero acceleration would be an object at rest (not moving) or an object moving with a constant velocity (speed and direction). In both cases, the acceleration is zero since there is no change in velocity. For instance, if a car is stopped at a red light, its acceleration is zero. Similarly, if a car is driving on a straight road at a constant speed, its acceleration is also zero.
