  • Quantum Perception: Do Particles 'See' the World?
Quantum particles (such as photons, electrons, etc.) do not have 'eyes' or sense organs like living organisms do to perceive the world. The concept of 'seeing' or perception implies a conscious observation, which is not applicable to quantum particles. In quantum mechanics, the behavior of particles is described through mathematical wave functions which represent their states and dynamics in terms of probabilities. Quantum particles do not have thoughts, feelings, or any form of subjective experience associated with perception.
