While some modern theories, such as string theory and loop quantum gravity, attempt to go beyond Einstein’s theory of gravity, they remain unproven scientific hypotheses. Einstein’s theory of general relativity has passed stringent experimental and observational tests, making it the most successful theory of gravity to date.
