  • Understanding the Stability of Rogue Waves: Formation and Characteristics
Giant freak waves, also known as rogue waves or monster waves, are not known to be stable in the strict scientific sense. They are rare and unpredictable events that occur in the ocean and are characterized by their extreme height and power. The formation of these waves is still not fully understood, but several factors such as the interaction of ocean currents, wind conditions, and nonlinear dynamics are believed to play a role. These waves can reach heights of over 100 feet and can cause significant damage to ships and marine infrastructure.
