  • What's the Wettest Biome After the Rainforest?
The biome that receives the second most amount of rain after rainforests is the temperate rainforest.

    Here's why:

    * Rainforests: Receive over 200 cm (80 inches) of rain annually.

    * Temperate Rainforests: Typically receive between 150-250 cm (60-100 inches) of rain per year.

While other biomes like tropical savannas and monsoon forests can receive significant rainfall, they don't reach the levels of temperate rainforests.
