  • Visible Light: The Key to Human Vision - Understanding Properties
The property of light that humans need to see most things is visible light.

    Here's why:

    * Visible light is the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that our eyes can detect. It's what we perceive as colors.

    * Other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, like infrared and ultraviolet, are invisible to us.

So, while other light properties like intensity (brightness) and wavelength (color) are important for seeing, it's the visibility of the light itself that allows us to perceive the world around us.
