  • Sunlight in Rainforests: Why It's Usually Shady
Rainforests are known for having a lot of shade!

    Here's why:

    * Tall trees: The canopy of trees is incredibly dense, blocking out much of the sunlight.

    * High humidity: The air in rainforests is very moist, making the atmosphere hazy and further reducing the amount of sunlight that reaches the forest floor.

So, while there might be some sunlight filtering through the canopy, it's not typically sunny in the rainforest.
