  • Plant-Based Fabrics: A Guide to Natural Clothing Fibers
Here are some clothes that come from plants:

    Fibers:

    * Cotton: One of the most popular natural fibers, cotton comes from the fluffy fibers surrounding cotton seeds.

    * Linen: Made from the fibers of the flax plant, linen is known for its strength and durability.

    * Hemp: A strong and versatile fiber, hemp comes from the Cannabis sativa plant.

    * Jute: A rough but strong fiber used for making burlap and rope, jute comes from the jute plant.

    * Ramie: A strong and silky fiber, ramie comes from the ramie plant.

    * Bamboo: Though technically a grass, bamboo fibers can be used to create fabrics.

    * Sisal: A strong and stiff fiber used for making rope and mats, sisal comes from the sisal plant.

    * Kenaf: A fast-growing plant that yields strong fibers used for making paper, rope, and textiles.

    Other materials:

    * Cork: The bark of the cork oak tree is used to make cork, which is used for shoes, bags, and other items.

    * Rubber: Natural rubber is obtained from the latex sap of the rubber tree.

Note: While we don't wear them directly, plant-based dyes are also used to color clothes.

It's important to note that many clothes are made from a blend of plant-based and synthetic fibers.
