  • Water in Rainforests: Liquid & Water Vapor Explained
The two main forms of water in a rainforest are:

    1. Liquid water: This is the most obvious form, found in rivers, streams, lakes, and puddles. Rainforests have high rainfall, and this water flows through the ecosystem, providing essential nutrients and supporting life.

    2. Water vapor: While not visible, the air in a rainforest is incredibly humid, containing a high concentration of water vapor. This vapor comes from the constant evaporation of water from the soil, plants, and bodies of water. The humid air contributes to the rainforest's characteristically warm and wet climate.
