    Here's a simple analogy:

    Imagine a population of rabbits living in a forest. Some rabbits have brown fur, while others have white fur. The forest is home to a predator, a fox, which hunts by sight. The brown rabbits are better camouflaged in the forest and are less likely to be caught by the fox. This means the brown rabbits are more likely to survive, reproduce, and pass on their brown fur genes to their offspring. Over time, the population will shift towards having more brown rabbits and fewer white rabbits.
