  • Natural Periodic Phenomena: Tides and Seasons Explained
Here are two things in nature that exhibit periodic behavior:

    1. The Tides: Tides are the regular rise and fall of ocean water levels caused primarily by the gravitational pull of the moon and, to a lesser extent, the sun. These cycles are predictable and repeat roughly every 12.5 hours (high tide to high tide).

    2. The Seasons: Seasons are caused by the Earth's tilt on its axis and its orbit around the sun. This tilt leads to varying amounts of sunlight reaching different parts of the Earth throughout the year. The cycle of seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) repeats annually.
