  • Pseudoscience: Defining and Identifying False Science
Something that claims to be science but is not called a pseudoscience.

    Here's why:

    * Pseudoscience literally means "false science". It refers to a belief or practice that claims to be scientific but lacks the rigorous methodology and evidence required to be considered legitimate science.

    * Examples of pseudoscience: Astrology, homeopathy, phrenology, creationism (in its non-scientific interpretations).

It's important to remember that pseudoscience often uses scientific terminology and imagery to appear legitimate, but it doesn't stand up to scientific scrutiny.
