  • Bracken Fern: Dicot or Monocot? Understanding Plant Classification
Bracken fern is neither a dicot nor a monocot.

    Here's why:

    * Dicots and monocots are classifications within the flowering plants (angiosperms).

    * Ferns belong to a separate group called pteridophytes. Pteridophytes are vascular plants that reproduce via spores, not seeds.

So, while bracken fern shares characteristics with other plants, it doesn't fit into the dicot/monocots classification.
