  • Photosynthesis in Trees: What Do They Absorb?
Trees take in carbon dioxide (CO2) for photosynthesis.

    Here's how it works:

    * Sunlight: Provides the energy for photosynthesis.

    * Water: Absorbed through the roots and transported to the leaves.

    * Carbon dioxide: Taken in through tiny openings on the leaves called stomata.

During photosynthesis, the tree uses these ingredients to create glucose (sugar) and oxygen. The glucose provides the tree with energy for growth and development, while the oxygen is released into the atmosphere.
