The water cycle is a continuous process where water moves between the Earth's surface and the atmosphere. Water evaporates from oceans, lakes, and rivers, condenses into clouds, falls back to Earth as precipitation (rain, snow, hail, sleet), and then flows back into the oceans and other bodies of water, starting the cycle anew.
