  • Saltwater vs. Tap Water for Plant Growth: Which is Best?
Flowers do not grow well in salt water. In fact, salt water is extremely harmful to most plants. Here's why:

    * Salt stress: Salt water draws water out of plant cells, leading to dehydration and wilting.

    * Nutrient imbalance: Salt water can disrupt the uptake of essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.

    * Soil damage: Salt buildup in the soil can make it difficult for roots to absorb water and nutrients.

Tap water, on the other hand, is generally safe for most plants. It's important to note that tap water can contain chlorine and other chemicals, which can be harmful in high concentrations. It's a good idea to let tap water sit out for 24 hours before using it to water your plants.

Best Practice: Use rainwater or distilled water for the best results.
