  • The Role of Trees in Carbon Dioxide Absorption and Oxygen Production
    All trees breathe in carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen during photosynthesis.

    This is the process where:

    * Carbon dioxide (CO2) is absorbed from the air through tiny pores in the leaves called stomata.

    * Water is absorbed from the soil through the roots.

    * Sunlight provides energy.

    Using these ingredients, trees create glucose (sugar) for energy and oxygen (O2) as a byproduct. They release the oxygen back into the atmosphere through the stomata.

    So, in short, all trees are involved in this process.
