  • Common Light Sources: Sun, Incandescent & Fluorescent
Three examples of light sources are:

    1. The Sun: The Sun is the primary source of light for our planet. It is a star that emits vast amounts of energy, including visible light, ultraviolet light, and infrared light.

    2. Incandescent light bulb: An incandescent light bulb produces light by heating a thin wire called the filament until it glows. The heat is generated by passing an electric current through the filament.

    3. Fluorescent light bulb: A fluorescent light bulb works by emitting ultraviolet light that excites a phosphor coating inside the bulb. The phosphor then converts this ultraviolet light into visible light.
