  • African Rainforest Climate: Temperature, Rainfall & Humidity
    Climate of African Rainforests

African rainforests are characterized by a warm and humid climate, with heavy rainfall throughout the year. The average temperature ranges from 25 to 28 degrees Celsius (77 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit), with little variation between day and night. The relative humidity is typically high, often reaching 80% or more.

Rainfall is abundant in African rainforests, with an average annual precipitation of 2,000 to 4,000 millimeters (80 to 160 inches). The wet season typically lasts from April to October, with the heaviest rainfall occurring from June to August. During the dry season, from November to March, there is less rainfall, but it still occurs regularly.

The high temperatures and humidity in African rainforests create a favorable environment for plant and animal life. The rainforests are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species, many of which are found nowhere else in the world.
