  • Salt Availability in Rainforests: A Nutritional Perspective
    Salt is not particularly precious in rainforests. While it is a necessary mineral for human health, it is generally available in sufficient amounts in the foods that people eat in the rainforest environment, such as fruits, vegetables, and meats. There may be certain areas where salt is scarce, but it is not generally considered a precious commodity in rainforests.
