  • How Vegetation Defines Climate Boundaries: A Comprehensive Guide
Vegetation can be used to help define climate boundaries because it is largely determined by climate. Temperature, precipitation, humidity, amount of solar radiation can have significant effects on what vegetation can or cannot live there.

For example, tropical rainforests are characterized by the presence of tall, diverse trees and a variety of plants that require abundant rainfall and warm temperatures. On the other hand, deserts are characterized by sparse vegetation adapted to survive in hot and dry conditions with little rainfall.
