  • Understanding Gravitational Force: Attraction Between Objects
The force of attraction that exists between any two objects is called gravitational force. Gravitational force is a fundamental force of nature that is responsible for the attraction between any two objects with mass. It is the weakest of the four fundamental forces, but it is also the most long-range, acting over infinite distances. Gravitational force is what keeps the planets in orbit around the sun, the moon in orbit around the Earth, and galaxies bound together.
