  • States of Matter in the Human Body: A Comprehensive Overview
All three states of matter exist within the human body:

Solids: Bones, teeth, muscles, tendons, and internal organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys are all solids.

Liquids: Blood, lymph, gastric juices, and other bodily fluids are all liquids.

Gases: Air in the lungs, carbon dioxide in the bloodstream, and other gases produced by the body are all gases.

The most abundant state of matter in the human body is liquid, making up about 60% of the total body weight. Solids account for about 35%, and gases make up the remaining 5%.
