Trees' biological mechanisms do not have the ability to consciously or strategically stop their functions in the manner of a traditional human-organized strike. The way plants respond to their environment is inherently biological and largely dictated by how specific factors influence their metabolism, photosynthesis, growth. and adaptibility.
Scientists continue to study how global warming and climate disruptions affect both individual trees and forests ecosystems. There is no evidence thus far that trees collectively and deliberately "stage's strike". However, they can indirectly contribute to significant ecological shift as they cope with altered conditions that challenge their growth , reproduction , and ability to compete other species in changed ecosystem
