* The Tree People is a non-profit organization that plants and cares for trees in Los Angeles County. The Tree People works with the Ag Commissioner and other partners to provide education and outreach about pests and diseases that threaten trees in Los Angeles County.
* The California Urban Forests Council (CUFC) is a coalition of organizations that work to promote and protect urban forests in California. The CUFC works with the CDFA, UC ANR, the Ag Commissioner, the Tree People, and other partners to advocate for policies and programs that support the health of trees in Southern California.
Together, these groups are working to slow the spread of pests and diseases and protect the trees of Southern California.
