  • Butterfly Metamorphosis: How They Transform (and Don't Stick!)
    Butterflies do not stick to branches during metamorphosis; instead, they form a chrysalis or cocoon around themselves. Within the chrysalis or cocoon, the caterpillar goes through a series of transformations and emerges as a butterfly. They do not attach themselves or hang from branches or any surfaces.
