In algebra, students often rely on graphing calculators to visualize lines, functions, and particularly line segments. While you can sketch a segment by hand, a calculator can instantly plot it, giving you an accurate visual reference for any pair of points.
Navigate to the Draw menu and choose Line. The calculator will display the Line(…) command.
Enter the coordinates of the two endpoints, separated by commas, in the format Line(X1,Y1,X2,Y2). For example, to plot a segment from (0, 3) to (1, 2), type Line(0,3,1,2).
Press Enter and the calculator will display the line segment between the specified points.
