  • Millimeters vs. Liters: Understanding Units of Measurement
There are no liters in one millimeter.

    Here's why:

    * Liter (L) is a unit of volume.

    * Millimeter (mm) is a unit of length.

You can't directly convert between units of length and volume. To figure out the volume of something in liters, you need to know its three dimensions (length, width, and height).
