  • Converting Electricity Cost: Mills/kWh to Cents - A Simple Guide
You can't directly convert mills per kWh to cents because they measure different things:

    * Mills per kWh (mills/kWh) measures the cost of electricity per kilowatt-hour in units of thousandths of a dollar.

    * Cents (¢) measure the cost of something in units of hundredths of a dollar.

To convert mills per kWh to cents, you need to do the following:

    1. Divide by 10: Since there are 10 mills in a cent, divide the number of mills by 10.

    Example:

    44 mills/kWh / 10 = 4.4 cents/kWh

Therefore, 44 mills per kWh is equivalent to 4.4 cents per kWh.
