    The two elements found in all silicate minerals are:

    * Silicon (Si): Represented by the symbol Si

    * Oxygen (O): Represented by the symbol O

    Silicate minerals are essentially compounds of silicon and oxygen, forming a basic building block called the silicate tetrahedron (SiO₄)⁴⁻. This tetrahedron can link with other tetrahedrons in various ways, leading to the diverse range of silicate minerals we see.
