  • Earth's Temperature: Factors & Average Global Temperature
The Earth doesn't have one single temperature. It varies greatly depending on:

    * Location: The equator is much hotter than the poles.

    * Altitude: Higher altitudes are colder.

    * Time of day: Temperatures are generally higher during the day and lower at night.

    * Season: Different seasons have different average temperatures.

However, we can talk about average temperatures:

    * Global Average Surface Temperature: This is currently around 14.6°C (58.3°F). This is an average of all temperatures across the Earth's surface.

    * Earth's Internal Temperature: The Earth's core is extremely hot, estimated to be around 5,200°C (9,392°F).

It's important to note that the Earth's temperature is constantly changing, and the global average temperature has been steadily increasing in recent decades due to climate change.
