  • Geode Sizes: From Tiny Specimens to Massive Wonders
Geodes can range in size from a few centimeters to several meters in diameter!

    Here's a breakdown:

    * Small Geodes: Most geodes are smaller than a grapefruit, typically ranging from a few inches to a foot across.

    * Large Geodes: Larger geodes can be found, sometimes reaching the size of a basketball or even larger.

    * Giant Geodes: The largest geodes known are truly impressive. The "Crystal Cave" in Mexico boasts massive selenite crystals that stretch over 30 feet long. The "Pulpi Geode" in Spain is a giant cavity filled with gypsum crystals that can be over 10 feet tall.

So, while small geodes are more common, there are some truly enormous ones out there waiting to be discovered!
