    Here's why:

    * Heterogeneous mixtures have components that are not evenly distributed throughout. You can see the different parts of the mixture.

    * Granite is made up of different minerals like quartz, feldspar, and mica. These minerals are visible as distinct crystals or grains within the rock.

    While granite might appear uniform from a distance, if you look closely, you can see the different minerals that make it up.
