  • Earth's Crust: Composition, Features, and Importance
The layer of the Earth that contains rocks, minerals, and soil is the crust.

    Here's why:

    * Crust: The outermost layer of the Earth, it's relatively thin compared to the other layers. This is where we find all the rocks, minerals, and soil that make up the landforms we see.

    * Mantle: The layer beneath the crust is mostly solid rock, but it's very hot and under immense pressure. While the mantle contains minerals, it's not where we find the rocks and soil we interact with.

    * Outer Core: This is a liquid layer of iron and nickel.

    * Inner Core: The solid center of the Earth, also mostly iron and nickel.

Let me know if you'd like to know more about any of these layers!
