Understanding the Plate Tectonics: Antarctic Plate Location Relative to Nazca & South American Plates
The crustal plate found between the Nazca Plate and the South American Plate is the Antarctic Plate.
It's important to note that the Nazca Plate is subducting (sliding) under the South American Plate, which is what causes the Andes Mountains and the frequent earthquakes in the region. The Antarctic Plate is to the south of both of these plates.
