Here's why:
* Location: It's the lowest layer, extending from the surface up to about 7-15 kilometers (4-9 miles) high.
* Density: It contains about 80% of the atmosphere's mass. This is because gravity pulls most of the air molecules towards the Earth's surface.
* Weather: The troposphere is where we experience most weather phenomena, including clouds, rain, snow, and wind.
While the other layers are important, they contain significantly less atmospheric mass compared to the troposphere.
