  • Rocky Cores of Planets: A Guide to Terrestrial Worlds
    All of the terrestrial planets have rocky cores. These include:

    * Mercury

    * Venus

    * Earth

    * Mars

    The gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) do not have solid rocky cores in the same way. They have cores made up of compressed hydrogen and helium, with a possible rocky component at their very center.
