Olympus Mons: Location & Martian Geology - Not a Tectonic Boundary
Olympus Mons is located on the planet Mars, not on Earth. Therefore, it doesn't sit on a tectonic boundary like those found on our planet.
While Mars does have tectonic activity, it's very different from Earth's. Olympus Mons is a shield volcano formed by a hotspot where magma from the planet's mantle rose and erupted over millions of years.
