There are two main hemispheres:

* Northern Hemisphere: The half of the Earth north of the equator.

* Southern Hemisphere: The half of the Earth south of the equator.

You can also have other hemispheres, such as:

* Eastern Hemisphere: The half of the Earth east of the Prime Meridian.

* Western Hemisphere: The half of the Earth west of the Prime Meridian.

* Land Hemisphere: The half of the Earth containing most of the land.

* Water Hemisphere: The half of the Earth containing most of the water.
