  • Southern Cross Constellation Coordinates: Star Positions & Declination/Right Ascension
    The Southern Cross isn't a single point, but a constellation. Therefore, it doesn't have a single latitude and longitude.

    However, you can find the coordinates of its brightest stars:

    * Acrux (α Crucis): -63.09° Declination, 122.45° Right Ascension

    * Mimosa (β Crucis): -59.64° Declination, 122.89° Right Ascension

    * Gacrux (γ Crucis): -57.15° Declination, 121.46° Right Ascension

    * δ Crucis: -59.11° Declination, 122.28° Right Ascension

    * ε Crucis: -60.22° Declination, 122.87° Right Ascension

    Note: Declination is similar to latitude, and Right Ascension is similar to longitude, but they are celestial coordinates used to locate objects in the sky.

    You can use these coordinates to locate the Southern Cross using a star chart or planetarium software.
