  • Finding Delphinus: A Guide to Locating the Dolphin Constellation
Delphinus, the Dolphin constellation, is located in the northern hemisphere of the sky. It's found in a region between the constellations of Aquarius and Pegasus.

Here's a more specific way to find it:

    * Look for the Great Square of Pegasus: This is a prominent asterism (a recognizable pattern of stars) formed by the four brightest stars in the constellation Pegasus.

    * Find the "tip" of the square: Imagine a line drawn from the top-left corner of the square to the bottom-right corner. Delphinus lies just below this line, about halfway between the square and the constellation Aquarius.

Delphinus is a relatively small constellation, but it's distinctive because of its diamond-shaped pattern of stars.
