  • Teide Volcano: Spain's Largest & Highest Peak - Facts & Information
    The largest volcano in Spain is Teide, located on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

    While it's not the tallest volcano in the world, its height from its base on the ocean floor is over 7,500 meters (24,600 feet), making it the third tallest volcano on Earth after Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa in Hawaii.

    Teide's peak is at 3,718 meters (12,198 feet) above sea level, making it also the highest peak in Spain.
