  • Earth's Mantle: Size, Composition, and Location
    The largest layer of Earth's surface is the mantle. It makes up about 84% of Earth's volume and is located between the crust and the core.

    While the crust is the outermost layer we directly interact with, it's much thinner compared to the mantle. The core is the innermost layer, but it's significantly smaller in volume than the mantle.
